A new 70,000 square foot warehouse and office facility on Legends Drive in Hooksett now serves as the headquarters for the Construction, Test and Maintenance Division of PSNH’s Transmission Group. A dedication ceremony in October, involving company, local, and state dignitaries, officially opened the facility. The building will provide space to consolidate transmission employees and equipment at one central location.

4:00 p.m. Update – Restoration Expected by Midnight

Line workers from Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH), Hydro Québec and independent contractors have made extraordinary progress today in the few remaining areas of the state where customers are still without power from Hurricane Sandy. As a result, PSNH now projects that, except for isolated situations, all customers will have power restored by midnight tonight.

Noon Update

A final push is on by Public Service of NH (PSNH) and mutual aid crews to restore power to the remaining customers left in the dark following Hurricane Sandy. Crews today are focusing on the hardest hit areas of the state, including Derry, Londonderry, Weare, Windham, and portions of the Monadnock Region. Damage in these areas is highly localized, and requires labor-intensive repairs that will only restore power to a few customers at a time.
